Mothers Of Invention: Self-Care Sundays

Mothers of Invention

Do you ever feel overwhelmed? People engaged in social justice work can be particularly susceptible to burnout. That's why we were overjoyed to team up with the MOI podcast to help spread the word about self-care, rest, and joy in this IGTV series.

Do you often feel overwhelmed? Recent research has found that people engaged in social justice work may be particularly susceptible to burnout (VICE 2018). That's why we were overjoyed to team up with the Mothers of Invention podcast to help spread the word about #SelfCare while being active in environmental and climate justice.

Mothers of Invention is a climate justice podcast with the mantra that climate change is a man-made problem with feminist solutions. Through the Self-Care Sundays series we supported the call for self-care, rest, and regenerative activism.

With a new conversation released each Sunday morning via IGTV, we heard from diverse voices from around the world sharing how they are looking after themselves while on the front lines of the climate crisis.
